In addition to the characteristic events that take place in the villages of the valley and the spectacular setting of Cercivento, in which the mosaics and frescoes on the houses transform the village into “A Bible in the Open Air”, you can find beautiful ones in all seasons!
Summer
Every day a new path… chosen from among the countless, which climb among stupendous landscapes, breathtaking views and culinary surprises at high altitudes, such as a visit to the huts where you can taste the cheeses and seasonal products.
Bikes also play a leading role, among dirt tracks for MTBs and challenges reserved for those who want to tackle the ascent of Monte Zoncolan, the toughest stage in the Alps in the context of the Giro d’Italia.
Naturally where there is mountain there is bread for the teeth… Bikers above all… with interesting itineraries for all kinds of motorcyclists!
Winter
The Zoncolan district offers a modern facility for alpine skiing and cross-country skiing, an activity which also has a route at the Timau lakes; there is also the possibility of snowshoeing, even guided, or venturing into the fantastic world of ski mountaineering, to conquer the Carnic mountains, climbing up with skins through the soft snow.
